Catherine D'Agostino

Catherine D’Agostino worked as a journalist for small-town newspapers before beginning a 32-year career teaching English, literature, and writing to middle school, high school and college students in western New York and the Finger Lakes region. In 2023, she published a mystery novel, Braided Lies: A Thousand Islands Castle Mystery, inspired by New York State’s own Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay, NY. In 2024, her one-act play, Internal Suspension, was tapped as a finalist in Lake Shore Center for the Arts Organic Juicebox International one-act play competition. Also in 2024, her photograph, The Buoys, was selected as a piece for Artscape Jamestown and is currently on display as a lightpost banner in Jamestown, NY.
